Public Housing WAITING LIST OPENING
The Northampton County Housing Authority will open the Public Housing waiting list for the following one (1) bedroom, elderly (62+) and/or disabled (any age):
Oliver Border House
Howard Jones Manor
from Monday August 31st, 2026, at 8:00 A.M. to Thursday September 3rd, 2026, at 5 P.M.
The income limits, effective May 15th, 2026, are as follows:
Persons in Family: 1 2
Income Limit: $58,450 $66,800
Applications will ONLY be accepted online at www.northamptoncountyha.org. Applications MUST be submitted online by Thursday September 3rd, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. to be accepted.

Veterans and their surviving spouses will receive two preference points.
Applicants who live, work, or have been hired to work in Northampton County, Pennsylvania will receive one preference point.
All other applicants will receive no preference points.
Northampton County Housing Authority reserves the right to select families based on local preferences according to the date and time of application.
Therefore, all applicants may not be placed upon a waiting list and acceptance of an application does not guarantee eligibility. You must meet the eligibility requirements in the Northampton County Housing Authority’s Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) Plan.
You will receive a letter in the mail if your application has been processed within 6 weeks of list closing. This letter is your proof that your application was accepted and that you were added to the waiting list. You will be contacted to complete a full application when your name nears the top of the waiting list.
You are required to notify the Northampton County Housing Authority in writing of all changes such as address, phone number, email address, etc. (in writing), after you submit this pre-application. Failure to report changes may result in your removal from the waiting list without further notice.

Applicants are placed on the waiting list by number or preference points, highest to lowest: then, within each category by the date the application was received. Please be advised the positions numbers are subject to change daily.
Goepp Street Apartments do not have preference points and applications will be processed in the order of the date and time received.
